DR. JOHN FLANAGAN
DR. JOHN FLANAGAN
John is a retired Navy anesthesiologist who grew up in Nashville, TN. He completed a BS degree in Chemistry and Biology at the University of Tennessee - Nashville, an MD degree at Meharry Medical College, and residency and fellowship training at Vanderbilt University. He served in the US Navy from 1976 to 1995, and retired as a Commander. He has additional training in Medical Acupuncture and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is a Disabled American Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He has a passion for serving those with lactose intolerance, including his daughter (who provided the impetus for the creation of DeLactable chocolate.) He lives in Nashville with his wife, Carol, and two devoted beagles named Barney and Clyde.

DR. AUTUMN MARSHALL
Autumn grew up eating and loving chocolate in Memphis, TN. She completed her BS degree in Dietetics at Lipscomb University, her MS in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship at Texas A & M University, and her PhD in Nutrition at Auburn University. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, and has worked in public health, as a clinical nutrition manager, and as a nutrition educator in USDA Extension. She currently serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Nutrition at Lipscomb University. She lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, Sam, still loves eating chocolate, and would like to remind you that chocolate is a vegetable.
